CV and ATS guide for digital marketing managers
They want channel (paid, SEO, CRM), budget or team, and one result. Then the stack: Google Ads, Meta, GA4, HubSpot.
Common ATS gaps
- JD named Google Ads / Meta Ads / GA4 while the CV says “performance marketing.”
- No spend, CAC, or pipeline figure — even as a [X] you will fill.
- Agency vs in-house never stated, so seniority filters misfire.
Keywords that only count with proof
Write the channel and the platform. Put a defendable [X] on CAC, ROAS, or qualified leads. Do not invent a spend you cannot show.
Common questions
- Should I list every social network?
- List the networks this JD runs if you ran them. A ten-platform line without a result is ignored.
- Is a personal brand the same as performance?
- No. If the JD is performance, lead with spend and conversion. Personal brand can be one line, not the headline.
